In 2015, KD partnered with Skype to demonstrate how to stay connected with friends and family when leaving for college. Leading up to departing his hometown, he said goodbye to his close friends and recorded the video chat. Once he arrived at his dorm, he skype-ed his grandma for the first time to demonstrate that any age is capable of using the service.

Both video interactions showed his audience how they can keep in touch with their loved ones when they are away, accomplishing the campaign’s goals. In addition, he posted on his instagram, authentically, so the campaign could translate across two platforms.

The sponsored videos acquired over 130 thousand views and the Instagram coverage broke 13 thousand likes.
